One of my favorite kids’ classes I taught this summer was the canvas and felt banner using my free Stay Cozy Banner Pattern. It’s always a wonderful opportunity to witness the kiddos’ creativity and personality—I love seeing what they come up with! My “Be Kind” sample uses the letter templates found in the original pattern. I cut out whimsical abstract shapes from felt and edgestitched them down using a clear presser foot.

Cat paw!! 10/10, no notes.

“Horse Grli.” Classic, self-explanatory.

“Dragon Nerd” with hand-drawn dragon face. This kiddo came to class with several 3D printed dragons, including one that was 3 feet long.

“Coffe!” with dragon wearing a teacup hat sitting inside a coffee cup. The kiddo who made this allegedly drinks a lot of decaf coffee. There were more exclamation points but they ran out of space.
